Six months – Starting to eat, swimming and cold weather sucks

February 8th, 2007 by carson

Well I just turned six months a few weeks ago so mom and dad thought it was a good idea to try to feed me real food. Long story short — I hate real food. I’d much rather have the boob than that gross rice cereal. And what the heck do they put in those carrots? Every time we sit down to eat mom and dad think they are going to pull a fast on by me and trick me to open my mouth but I am smarter than that… I just keep my lips closed tight. I’m not letting any of that gross food get in… uh uh no.

On other fronts I’m slowly figuring out how to push myself backwards. It won’t be long and I will be running all over the place. I can’t wait! Also, last Monday I got to go swimming for the first time in the big kids pool at the condo. Daddy swam me around and we practiced kicking and floating. I didn’t like getting out though, it was so cold and I just got done being sick — not to mention mommy said it was -11 degrees before the windchill. Why the heck wasn’t I born in Hawaii?
